We Are Family

DragonBorn Studios was an idea hatched in 2022 by the married duo, Rob and Heather, along with their good friend Julie.

This trio, being longtime friends, ran a business together for a few years. However, along with many other small businesses around 2020, they decided to close their doors and forge ahead into new ventures.

Even though their brick-and-mortar store was now closed, Rob, Heather, and Julie were determined. They pooled their various trades together, and came up with the concept of a new business that was both endearing and innovative.
With a new business, though, came the need for a new name. Over many naming debates, ideas were thrown about, yet no words hit the mark. Calling in aid from a close friend, Julie offered the phrase "DragonBorn". In response, Rob suggested "Studios".
The trio were in love.

The Hobbies
Beginning with a need to repair laser tag equipment, Rob found a passion in 3D printing. Being of an engineer mindset and military background, this craft form suited him.

Julie's interest in photography began back in her high school years, starting with a fascination over a manga about photography. It became a career when her godfather gifted her an instructional photography book for Christmas. For the next five years, she studied photography in a Christian college, spending a semester abroad in Australia to learn different techniques.
